Review of the Odyssey J-Peg Light

I got these pegs about a year and a half ago both in 14mm and have hardly taken them off my bike since. I always found that some pegs were too heavy but lasted forever or super light but lasted about a week. I ride a lot of street so I wanted to buy some pegs that were a decent weight but would also last me a long time. I think that these J-Pegs have really met that criteria. They aren’t very heavy, and they’re super durable. They’re made out of 4140 chromo (frames are from 4130) and these have really taken a lot of abuse.

I do a lot of grinding, and I haven’t actually rotated these pegs at all. Although the back one could probably use it which I don’t mind since there’s 3 different rotation positions. These have a lot of life left in them.

Bottom line for these pegs is that they’re light and tough and what more do you want from a peg? I doubt you could really get much more than that.

Overall I would give these a 10/10. Fantastic pegs and I would not hesitate to buy them again if I ever needed to
